How Does ozone deplete?

Dear Reader,
It has been long time since I last wrote. Sorry, if you had been reading, for the delay.Today, instead of having a long talk on some serious environmental disorder, I rather want to ask you a question.And the question is: HOW DOES OZONE DEPLETE NATURALLY?
Now you might say that its a really silly question, or you might reason and blame the NO2 produced during lightning! But that is not the exact QUESTION!!!
I'd rather ask: If most(nearly all) of the climatic activities take place in the troposphere, and the Ozone layer is present in the stratosphere, how does the NO2, which is produced during lightning, combine with O3 to deplete it?
You might cerebrate that it might rise up into the Stratosphere and take up the following reaction:

2NO2 + O3 -> 2NO3 + [O]

which it does.but why not:

2NO2 + O2 -> 2NO3

when oxygen is readily available in the troposphere itself!

Burning Kumaon

Dear Reader,

This is a report on the article on Forest Fires in Kumaon in the Kumaon Plus section of The Times of India. An Important issue raised by the media which was most necessarily required to come into limelight.Hundreds of trees burn each day due to the disastrous forest fires that have become an everyday show in Kumaon region.I being a Kumaon resident, can explain the consequences most vividly.The fires usually are spread by small bits of cigarette or bidi, which end up burning scores of trees.Thus I appreciate the attempt made by the author of the article.Not much to write this time.

Dear Reader,

On the 31st of may 2009, the government of India imposed a law that pictorial illustrations showing the consequences of the intake of tobacco, gutkha, and other drugs injurious to health;on the packs of the products.I good decision, I must confess.Such measures need to be taken in order to stop the youth from taking in such dangerous things, especially when we talk of youth empowerment.

Such pictorial representations are also necessary so as to spread awareness for the harms caused by such things.The government here employs the 'Terrify and Stop' Strategy,which,I must show my trust in,must be very very advantageous.

I must congratulate Mr. Gulam Nabi Azad, the newly appointed health minister on taking such an awaited(Since the declaration was made in the time of Mr. Ambumani Ramadoss) and important measure.

Some real adverising

Dear Reader,
I just saw an advertisement of Intel chips on the head page of the times of India.I sincerely felt about the data that was provided in the ad.If anyone read the top of the ad they would have noticed the temperature figures for some of the metros of India. Delhi,if I remember clearly had a temperature of 50 degree centigrade.How on the earth is a person going to live in such temperatures.I being unable to imagine such circumstances ask you to imagine them on my part.

even if we find ourselves unable to imagine such situations in the present times, we'll have to face them in the times that''ll come.So there are two options left to us:

1)Try to decrease global temperatures through three simple steps :- Conservation, Reuse and most importantly awareness.( I don't need to elaborate because I think you are potent enough to see their importance.)

2)Be braced for facing the circumstances that are to come.

It is on you to see which step you are going to follow, seeing that there is no third way...of escape.

Create awareness - Save Environment

Hi reader, nice to be in touch again.Today I wont elaborate myself as I usually do but I will be just giving a small message in order to spread awareness.The rest of the work will be done by you by helping me spread a message here we go:

Landslides take away a lot of lives each year,Forests burn to ashes every day, epidemics are born as we talk, people die of hunger every second.We can stop it, We can help the earth, and we can Save ourselves, still there is time,perhaps not much but still there is time...Work...Conserve...LIVE!!!
